It was founded in the year 1989 by Mr. Anton Anderson, who is none other than the husband of Mrs. Bernadine Anderson. They together, are people who are “ever ready to help a worthy cause”. When Mrs. Anderson revealed her dreams of Bridge-2-Peace (B2P) to Mr. Anderson, it was a “YES” said wholeheartedly, to make those dreams come true. Whilst Scanwell provides much of B2P’s financial assistance, the Team Scanwell provides willing moral support by volunteering to enhance the “success story” of B2P.

Scanwell Colombo was originally formed in 1989 as an exclusive agent. Then went into independent operations in 1993 with just 15 employees. Today with over 30 years in service, we are known best for ethical corporate practices in the freight industry in Sri Lanka.
